Picture this: You display 3 quartz crystals, each engraved with a rune. You ask the participant to hover their hand over each one, and choose the one which calls to them.
The other 2 crystals are replaced in a box/pouch, and you proceed to give the participant a reading based on the rune they picked… and as you do so, the rune turns black.
